You will drive your own ATV (2 – wheel/ 4 – wheel ) motorcycle, specially developed for rough area, or joint as co-pilot, and explore nature, while driving amongst rice fields, through the rainforest and traditional village, our guides will shiw you the way. The main building of KARTIKA WIJAYA HOTEL was built in 1891 as one of the Sarkies Family’s villas, who also was the owner of Raffles Hotel in. Singapore; Strand Hotel in Ranggon, Oranye Hotel ( now Majapahit Hotel ) in Surabaya and Niagara Hotel in Lawang.
At the 1st Dutch soldier camp/post until the 2nd military aggression. At the time, the underground level, located under the hotel’s lobby was used as a hiding place.
The building itself was a long time ago known as “Jambe Dawe Building” ( Jambe means Pinang tree and Dawe means blown leaves ). The Managemen of the hotel decided to preserve these Pinang trees to commemorate the past.
The KARTIKA WIJAYA HOTEL, is a heritage hotel with unique architektur surrounded by a beautiful mountain view, the fresh air of Batu offers the perfect environment for holiday, meetings and conferences.Away from the crowded big cities, it can be reached by only two hours drive from Juanda Airport, Surabaya or 20 minute drive from Malang.
Batu located 900 meters above sea level, is a small, friendly, nice and town, where you can find people’s hospitality and variables of good fruits, such as apples, strawberries, oranges, melons, vegetables, and also Bonzail.
Kartika Wijaya Convention Hall, an adjustable and spacious meeting room is a ideal place for meetings, seminars, wedding parties and functions. The hall can also be portioned into two or three separate rooms. All meeting rooms are fully facilitated with meeting equipment.
Located by the pool area, the open air Brawijaya Coffee Shop Welcome you 24 hor with ats European, Chinese and Indonesian cuisine. Enjoy your breakfast with the perfect view of Panderman Mountain.
With the beautifull background of mountain view, the swimming pool is sorraunded by an exotic tropical garden. Enjoi our warm and friendly reception in the wood carved splendor of the lobby with the original antique Java map on the wall.
